Dr. Christy Junkerman, Lecturer, received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. Her area of specialization is Italian Renaissance art, art theory and social history. Her research and teaching interests also include the history of women, gender studies, the history of the body and the history of the artist. She is at work on a book about Venetian images of women and the development of erotic art in the early Sixteenth Century for Cambridge University Press. She is an avid fan of American architecture and is involved in an architectural restoration project.
