The School of Art & Design is committed to providing our students with the tools and experience needed to successfully pursue a career in the arts. As one of the largest schools at San José State University, we offer a wide range of Bachelor's of Fine Arts programs including Animation/Illustration, Digital Media Art, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Photography, Pictorial Art, and Spatial Art.

The School also offers Bachelor's of Arts programs in Art History, Design Studies, Photography, Pictorial, Spatial Art, and preparation for Teaching.

Our Graduate school offers Master's of Fine Arts programs in Digital Media Art, Photography, Pictorial Art, and Spatial Art, and Master's of Arts programs in Animation/Illustration, and Art History and Visual Culture.
