Assigned readings can be downloaded from the School of Art&Design Resources site. You will need the correct login and password for readings from your instructor (this is different from the foundation images password).

Images

The School of Art&Design, Foundations area has a rich collection of large images which can be browsed by classification, artist, title or source. Login and password (different from the reading password) is available through your instructor.


The internationally recognized WorldImages database provides access to the California State University IMAGE Project. It contains almost 75,000 images, is global in coverage and includes all areas of visual imagery. WorldImages is accessible anywhere and its images may be freely used for non-profit educational purposes. The images can be located using many search techniques, and for convenience they are organized into over 800 portfolios which are then organized into subject groupings. To explore them click below.


It is essential for art students to visit museums and galleries regularly in order to view artworks in person. The Bay Area is a rich source for this practice.
